run for your life.....

** Run forest... run.....**

Duathlon rocks! hahhaha.... 20th May 2007 0815hr -1103hrs.... i managed to complete my 10km run, 40km cycle and 5km run in 2hr48mins.... wow.... i still have the gas to accomplish that and i am so surprise i can do it.....ahhaha.... but after this run... my legs become more skinny le.. sian....ahhha.....

the first 10km was great..... was probably first few in the pack in the first 5km... but slowly more people start to over take me in the 2nd 5km.... the last time i ran 10km was 4 yrs ago loh.... hhahhahaha..... then after the 10km run.... my legs actually abit tired and whobbly already, never really tried running then cycling b4... so heroically... i cheong to the transition area got my bike and started pedalling ..... TMD.... my 2 water bottle forget to fill up! wakaoz..... only have 500ml of water.... for 40km? oh dear... now have to water conversation le....haiya... very thirsty in between the 40km.... even fill like stopping at the marina south seafood centres to buy some drinks....hahaha... duno legal or not....ahhha... but i reckon that lingwei's SCOTT racing mountain bike converted to road bike has the ability to bring me cross the 40km with ease.... but too bad i keep having cramps here and there during the 40km... kaoz..... but i kept pushing for an average of 25-28 km/hr speed so as to be able to achieve my under 3 hrs timing....hahaha...

with the aid of audio *enjoyment* during the race... the 40km seems rather fast and the ulitmate test of will power has arrived... the last 5km run..... once i got off my bike...i didnt feel my legs were on the ground.... gosh! i cant feel my legs.... HOW to RUn? siao liao la...... but my mind pushed me to run the last journey and eventually.... i dragged my fat ass out of the transition area and started joggin.... defintely killing me... it feels like....... playing 20 bball matches and have to do a 5km after that! ahhaha.... gosh! god bless......aahhaha....

the 5km run was the killer i reckon.....at the last 5km... i see people laying on the floor.... sitting on the kerb side..... crying.... stretching..... massaging...... grabbing their hair.... and i probably guess they must be thinking " why i pay S$55 dollars to sufffer?" hahahaha.... k n s... i see them like that my leg also cannot take it..... those sexy pair of legs started to give way and cramps from the thigh to the calf to the hamstrings.... a series of combination like those made me stood at one of the resturants at boat quay which was along the route to stretch my muscles and cry out in agony....hahaha.... the most happy points in the last 5km was to see the Water points... k n s.... i demanded them to give me some H20.... but the poor girl gave me an empty cup! wakao.... super lost form and funny... then i was like ... oei oei... no water one... no water one!! hahah.... then she also kanjiong.....ahhahaah....

finally.... running down the route towards the finishing line..... i see like 10 runners in front of me...

left ard 1km.... who cares..... cheong liao la..... now dun cheong ... when cheong.... then i started to pick up my speed.... and run as though i had fresh legs...... i run... i ran... and i concquered....hahhahaha...... what was fulfilling to me for the whole race was the ability to complete it... and during the last 1km... my mind was literally controlling my body..... proud of myself..............

as for my duathlon partner, elaine..... heheeheee...... all i want to say to her was.... glad we got the S$ 40 bicycle car rack........hahahaha. Good Job girl! train hard and we go cheong again next yr...2008!!!
